The bail plea of the Tehelka magazine editor Tarun Tejpal, accused in a sexual assault case, will come up for hearing at a Goa court on Friday. The order of the court is expected at 2.30 pm.

12:00 pm: Bayern Munich President sentenced to prison for tax evasion

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness was found convicted and sentenced to three and a half years in prison on Thursday for evading millions of euros (dollars) in tax through an undeclared Swiss bank account.

11 am: 6 out of 10 voters say No to UPA-III: Zee News opinion polls

A pre-poll survey conducted by Zee media found out that most of the voters say No to a third term of the current UPA government. Another poll survey conducted by NDTV  said that Narendra Modi-led BJP will sweep Gujarat, Rajasthan and Karnataka and the party-led NDA will give a big jolt to ruling Congress-NCP alliance in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha elections.
