Top Lashkar commanders arrested

, Oct 13: Top commanders of Lashkar-e-Toiba have been reported to be arrested in south Kashmir's Pulworm district. Top cops have said that the special operation group (SOG),army's 44RR, 182 and 183 CRPF acted swiftly on a tip off, established a check point at Sheikhaad.

The official said,"During the search, the joint party arrested a LeT militant Abid magray son of Manzoor Ahmad Magray resident of Nowpora Payeen near Sheikhaad."

A senior police official said that special operation group (SOG), army's 44RR, 182 and 183 CRPF acting on a tip off, established a check point at Sheikhaad. "During the search, the joint party arrested a LeT militant Abid magray son of Manzoor Ahmad Magray resident of Nowpora Payeen near Sheikhaad," the official said.

The arrested militant are said to be involved in a series of militancy-related incidents in south Kashmir and are considered to be a close aide of Abu Maaz and Abu Qasim.
