Top Brands Launch Jewellery, Accessories To Capitalise On Ram Mandir Wave
Several leading brands left no stone unturned to make the most of the Ram Mandir wave prevailing all across India and launched several products ranging from watches, keychains, jewellery, gift box, 3D replica of Ram Mandir, silver coins carrying images of Ram Darbar, among others.
Previously, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) had already anticipated a turnover of close to Rs 1 lakh crore ahead of the 'pran pratishta' ceremony of the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya on January 22. The figures were calculated after assessing feedback from trade associations in 30 cities including expenditures on goods, services, and several events related to the occasion. CAIT had expected a business of Rs 50,000 earlier but amid the strong momentum that surrounded the inauguration of Ram Temple, decided to revise it to Rs 1 lakh crore.

"This event not only resonates with religious sentiments but has also triggered a surge in economic activities. The faith and trust of people are fostering the creation of numerous new businesses based on the country's traditional economic system," said Praveen Khandelwal, national secretary-general of CAIT.
PP Jewellers by Pawan Gupta launched its exclusive Ayodhya collection of jewellery. PP Jewellers' Ayodhya collection has been crafted from 22-carat gold and precious gemstones. It uses flowers from temples across India and creates useful products such as rose incense cones and Phool vermicompost.
