To keep JD(U) united, BJP likely to offer 2 Union Cabinet berths
A Cabinet re-shuffle is scheduled after the winter session of Parliament.
The BJP is likely to offer the JD(U) two Cabinet berths in a bid to quell a rebellion. A few leaders have expressed unhappiness with the decision taken by Nitish Kumar to ally with the government and form the government in Bihar.

The likes of Sharad Yadav were among the first to raise objections to this alliance. In fact Yadav held a meeting with a few of his supporters to discuss the future course of action.

The J(U) faces a crucial floor test today. While the JD(U)-BJP are placed well above the half way mark, it would still like to avoid any discontentment among the party ranks. Moreover the BJP would also like to bag the support of the JD(U) in both houses of Parliament and hence keeping all its leaders happy would be crucial.
A Cabinet re-shuffle is scheduled after the winter session of Parliament. Two senior JD(U) leaders are likely to be inducted into the Cabinet during the re-shuffle, sources in the BJP say. Sharad Yadav could be on of them who are likely to get a Cabinet berth, the sources also added.
