Kolkata: TMC MLAs protest outside RBI office against demonetisation
Party said it will continue its protest till modi government withdraws the draconian decision of demonetisation
Kolkata, Dec 14: Trinamool Congress legislators and senior ministers today staged a rally in the city, which ended outside the RBI office, against the Centre's demonetisation move.
RBI Governor Urjit Patel is scheduled to arrive here today for the apex bank's central board meeting tomorrow. He is also scheduled to meet bankers and industrialists during his stay.

The rally started from the West Bengal Assembly and was attended by state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee, Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim, TMC MP Subrata Bakshi and Power Minister Sovandeb Chattopadhyay.
"We will continue our protest until the draconian decision of demonetisation is withdrawn. Tomorrow also we will organise a similar protest-rally. India is a democracy and Modi can't bulldoze his anti-people decision on the entire country," Chatterjee told the rally.
