Ratna Debnath claimed that a group of TMC supporters tried to attack her and used abusive language. According to her, they accused her of "doing business" in her daughter's name and issued threats, warning her about consequences after the election results on May 4.

She also alleged that the situation turned hostile, with individuals misbehaving and creating an atmosphere of fear.

Her husband, Sekharranjan Debnath, also raised concerns about the situation. He alleged that a group of people on motorcycles followed them, raised slogans, and attempted to attack.

He claimed that more individuals were called to the spot, but instead of removing them, the police asked his family to leave. According to him, such actions were driven by fear of their growing public support.

Despite the tense situation, Sekharranjan Debnath became emotional while speaking about casting his vote. He said it was painful that they had to enter politics to seek justice for their daughter.

However, he expressed hope and determination, stating that they believe they will win and secure justice, with strong support from the public.
