The man's response is unheard of becasue not only did he bite the snake, he chewed it's head off, leaving the beheaded snake dead.

Sonelal was rushed to Moghaganj community health centre (CHC) after the incident which took place on Saturday.

After regaining consciousness, the man narrated waht had happened. He said that the snake bit him when he was grazing his cattle in the fields and he resoted to his 'revege attack' in fit of rage.

The hospital authorities, however, said that they did not find any snake bite marks on his body.

"It appears that the snake had not bitten him at all. We did not find any snake bite marks on his body. He turned unconscious because of consuming the snake's body part which could have contained venom assuming that it was a poisonous snake," a TOI report quoted Dr Verma of the Moghaganj community health centre as saying.

Secretary, state mental health society, Dr SC Tewari said that the man's behaviour appears abnormal, the TOI report said.
