Tirupati Temple Board Member Abuses Staff, Caught On Camera

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board is once again in headlines. A viral video of TTD member S Naresh Kumar has created a buzz on the internet as he is abusing one of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams staff. The TTD viral video shows S Naresh Kumar verbally abusing at the exit gate after he completed his darshan.

It was learned that Naresh Kumar wanted to enter through the Maha Dvaram, the main door. At that time, the door was temporarily closed for VIPs. The TTD staff member tried to make him understand the restriction, explaining that no VIPs were allowed through that route, but he got upset because of the same.

TTD Member Abuses

This incident has sparked outrage among devotees and led to widespread discussions online.

Social Media Reactions

The video has elicited mixed reactions on social media platforms. While some devotees have condemned Naresh Kumar's behaviour, others have questioned the enforcement of VIP restrictions at the temple. The incident has become a topic of debate among netizens.

Despite a notice put up by TTD officials reinforcing the rule, Naresh Kumar became visibly angry and began hurling abuses at the staff member. In the video, he can be heard calling the attendant a "third-class fellow" and ordering him to "get out" while pushing him aside.

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) also shared the video on social media platform X with the hashtag #SaveTirumalaFromTDP. In their post, they criticised Naresh Kumar's actions: "TTD board member hurls abuses in the presence of Srivari. TTD employee stops TTD board member Naresh Kumar for not allowing him to enter through the main gate. Naresh Kumar scolds the employee, calling him a third-class son without any reason, forgetting that he is in the presence of Srivari. You gave the post of TTD board member to such uncivilised people... Shame on you N Chandrababu Naidu @ncbn."
