Protesters with pro-Israeli banners took to the streets of the city while leaders spoke about Israel's rights to defend itself against Hamas, a militant organisation.
The rally was organised by Hindu Samhati and was attended by 20,000 people
One of the rally organisers said India and Israel are thriving democracies who have their fates intertwined and both share same values, the Times of Israel report said.
The rally was organised by Hindu Samhati, a political movement, and also Sikh and Buddhist representatives. The Buddhist members came from Bangladesh, which has been hit by Muslim riots.
