Tight security in Rishikesh ahead of PM Narendra Modi's visit
Rishikesh, Sept 10: Besides visiting an ashram here, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to attend a felicitation ceremony being organised for him in Virbhadra town near here for implementation of One Rank One Pension scheme.
Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place here ahead of the Prime Minister's visit.

The prime minister will visit Swami Dayanand's ashram tomorrow and 12 companies of the PAC and 20 senior police officials at different levels of security have been deployed.
The administration is making sure everything is in place, DGP B S Sidhu said. Earlier, the Prime Minister was scheduled to visit Swami Dayanand Giri at his ashram.
"The felicitation ceremony is being held on a short notice but we are sure people in large numbers will turn up at the venue to see the Prime Minister," state BJP general secretary Naresh Bansal who had come to asses the preparations on behalf of the party said.
