Three Terrorist Killed In Encounter In Jammu-Kashmir's Kulgam
Three terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Thursday. The encounter, which commenced on Monday night, concluded on Thursday morning.
In a statement shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), the Indian Army stated, "A Joint Operation, that commenced on the intervening night of 06-07 May in the general area of Redwani Payeen, Kulgam, has been concluded after a relentless vigil of approximately 40 hours. 03xTerrorists have been eliminated along with the recovery of war-like stores, inflicting yet another blow on the terror ecosystem."

The Indian Army reiterated its commitment to maintaining peace and tranquility in Kashmir, emphasizing the dedication of the Chinar Corps in this endeavor.
In an encounter on Tuesday, security forces eliminated Basit Dar, a senior commander of the TRF, an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Dar, who was on the 'most wanted list' of security agencies and carried a bounty of Rs 10 lakh, was involved in over 18 cases of killing police personnel and civilians, according to the Inspector-General of Police in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, security forces have escalated search operations in the Poonch and Rajouri districts to locate the terrorists responsible for the attack on an IAF convoy last Saturday. The attack resulted in the loss of life of a corporal-ranked personnel.
