In another tragic event, a 12-year-old boy was carried away by the Kosi river near Puchhdi village in Nainital's Ramnagar at 4 pm. The child was bathing with his father and two siblings when he was overcome by the swift waters. Upon receiving the report, an SDRF team launched a search operation and successfully retrieved the child's body from the river.
