Three killed, six injured in accident in Anantpur district

Ananthpur, Sept 6: Three people were killed and six others were injured when a bus travelling from Hyderabad to Bangalore rammed into a truck on Saturday in Anantpur district at Andhra Pradesh- Karnataka border.

Eyewitness said that the bus driver tried to overtake the truck when the driver lost control and hit the truck.

Eyewitness said that two passengers sitting in the front row were thrown out of the bus and came under the wheels and died on the spot. Meanwhile those injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The bus driver, who was safe was later accused by the locals of rash driving that resulted in the accident.

All the passengers travelling were from Hyderabad.
