Thousands of people attend Lalu's anti-BJP rally in Patna
A sea of people have taken to the roads of Patna, leading to the Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) BJP bhagao, Desh bachao rally at Gandhi Maidan in Bihar.

Rebel JD-U leader Sharad Yadav on Sunday shared a stage for the first time with RJD chief Lalu Prasad at an anti-BJP rally, ignoring the JD-U's warning not to attend it.
Sharad Yadav was warmly welcomed by Lalu Prasad when he reached the stage. A smiling Lalu Prasad shook hands with and hugged Sharad Yadav before the huge gathering. Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad also attended the rally.
The RJD supporters expressed anger against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for betraying the grand alliance in the State.
Leaders of as many as 21 political parties are participating in the anti-BJP rally.
Meanwhile, Tejaswi Yadav, the younger son of Mr. Prasad and former Deputy Chief Minister, tweeted that Gandhi Maidan has been filled with the party supporters.
Thousands of people attended the rally despite floods affecting major parts of Seemanchal, Koshi and Mithilanchal regions of north Bihar.
