Along with serving iftar, the trust is also distributing ration to 1,500 poor families during the month of Ramzan, reported ANI.

"Hyderabad: Zaheer Uddin Khan Memorial Trust serves iftar to more than 500 poor people daily and distributes ration to 1,500 poor families during the month of Ramzan," tweeted ANI.

Mohammad Azhar, member of Zaheer Uddin Khan Memorial Trust, told ANI, "For the whole month of Ramadan (as Ramzan is also known as) we are serving meals to 500 people at the time of iftar. We are only catering to the need of the poor people, which include children, who can't afford to have proper meals. Daily more than 500 poor people visit here to enjoy food. From our trust we will also distribute ration to 1,500 poor families during the Ramzan season."

From biriyani to mutton curry, visitors at the trust are being treated with tasty and wholesome meal after the end of fast every evening.

"I am coming here for the last few days. Food is good here and wholesome. At home, we can't afford to have biriyani and meat-based curries. Here it is free and tasty. I am thankful to them," said Irfan Khan, who visited the place with his two sons on Tuesday evening.
