External Affairs Minister's Remarks

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar highlighted that the inauguration of the Thiruvalluvar statue fulfills an assurance given by Prime Minister Modi during his visit to Paris for Bastille Day in July. India's Envoy to France

He mentioned that the statue was a gift from the Tamil Cultural Association France and was inaugurated in the presence of Mayor Jean-Paul Jeandon, Minister K Laxminarayan from Puducherry, and the Governor of the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka.
