Thief Steals Rs 5000 From Donation Box Of Rewari Temple, But Not Before Reciting Hanuman Chalisa
In a bizarre incident, a thief in Haryana's Rewari district offered prayers and placed a Rs 10 note at the deity's feet before robbing a temple and fleeing with Rs 5,000.
The CCTV footage shows the thief sitting in front of the idol of Lord Hanuman, staying there for a few minutes, and attentively observing the devotees. He even places a Rs 10 note at the deity's feet and recites Hanuman Chalisa.

After finding a suitable opportunity, the thief then opened the donation box, took a bundle of currency notes, and swiftly fled the scene.
Unaware of the theft, the priest closed the temple doors and was completely unaware that a theft had taken place. However, upon returning the next morning, he discovered that the lock of the donation box had been broken.
The police investigation revealed the theft after they reviewed the CCTV footage, which captured the thief's actions, including reciting the Hanuman Chalisa and offering money at the deity's feet, before executing the robbery.
In a separate incident, a passerby in Haryana's Gurugram district stopped a thief who was trying to escape on a motorcycle after stealing a woman's purse.
The CCTV footage shows the woman walking on the pavement with a bag in her hand and another sling bag across her body. A man on a maroon motorcycle stopped near her and got down to steal her purse. The victim looked scared and tried to run, but the man snatched her bag and ran towards his bike.
However, the passerby, who was driving a car, saw the incident and immediately stepped in. He chased the thief and blocked his path with his car. The thief was forced to stop and was arrested by the police.
The passerby's heroic act has been hailed by the internet, with many people calling him a "real hero."
