These Are Just Allegations: Sameer Wankhede's Wife On Aryan Bribery Case
Kranti Redkar Wankhede, wife of former NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, has indicated that they are no truth in the allegations of corruption against her husband.
He has been booked by the CBI for allegedly demanding Rs 25 crore to let off Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, in a drug case.

"Everyone knows that the allegations being levelled against him are wrong. These are just allegations and we are fully cooperating in the CBI proceedings. We have faith in law and order, and we are ready to cooperate with the investigating agency as a responsible citizen," she told ANI.
On Friday, the CBI conducted searches at 29 locations across the country in an alleged corruption case against Sameer Wankhede and four others - then NCB Superintendent Vishwa Vijay Singh, Intelligence Officer Ashish Ranjan and two private persons KP Gosavi and Sanvile D'Souza in the case.
The CBI has filed a case against Wankhede and others for alleged criminal conspiracy (120-B IPC), and threat of extortion (388 IPC) besides provisions pertaining to bribery under the Prevention of Corruption Act on a complaint from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), according to a report in PTI.

Meanwhile, the FIR filed by the CBI against former Mumbai Zone NCB head Sameer Wankhede has made shocking allegations against him in relation to the Aryan Khan drug seizure case.
The central agency has said that KP Goswami appeared like an NCB official during the raid on the cruise and was responsible for the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan's son. He was presented like an NCB officer, the FIR accessed by IANS stated.
The CBI has further alleged that a demand of Rs 25 crore was made to settle the case and it was settled at Rs 8 crore. A token amount of Rs 50 lakh as a bribe was paid, but later some money was returned due to the case getting stuck, the report added.
The FIR claims that the latter concealed information regarding his foreign trips and buying expensive watches. During the raid, it seized his cell phone which has been sent to a forensic lab to retrieve data.
"Sameer Wankhede is accused of engaging in buying and selling expensive watches without disclosing this information. He also allegedly concealed details of his expenses during his foreign trips," the CBI source said quoting FIR.
On the other hand, Sameer Wankhede, on Saturday, said that he was being "punished for being a patriot." He claimed that the officials from the central agency recovered Rs 28,000 from his sister Yasmin Wankhede's house, Rs 28,000 from his father Dnyaneshwar Wankhede's house, Rs 1800 from Sameer, the residence of Wankhede's father-in-law.
