Tharoor tweets Congress' Whatsapp number
Congress will now be available on Whatsapp number 83 98989898.
In his tweet Tharoor said, "Receive Congress' Updates Thru Whatsapp-Save +91 83 98989898 as WithCongress & send your name + city on this no.via Whatsapp. Pls RT & Spread".
It seems the political parties' war on internet is set to intensify. Already the national parties have social media cells to teach party men about the scopes of Facebook, Twitter and new age tools like Whatsapp and BBM. The cells are also responsible for sorting and sending various messages regarding the party to the followers.
For political parties, Whatsapp is more efficient and convenient than Facebook or Twitter where you are flooded with posts everyday, said a party worker, reported HT media.
