Thane: Elderly man thrashed by traffic cop over towed scooter
A 55-year-old man was thrashed by a traffic cop in at Ulhasnagar in Thane district in Maharashtra on Sunday.

The entire incident was shot on mobile and the video showing both traffic personnel Baliram Patil and him assaulting each other went viral on social media.
The man has been identified as Jawahar Vasumal Lulla, a resident of Ulhasnagar, who was detained for questioning.
The video shows, Lulla had parked his Activa on the road side which was a no-parking zone. The traffic cops towed the the two-wheeler. However, Lulla tried to stop the van. Lulla kept forcing Patil to release his Activa. Patil kept asking Lulla to pay fine and but Lulla was not in no mood to listen. After Patil stopped the towing van and got off, Patil slapped Lulla and in return Lulla slapped Patil.
A case has been registered against the man for disrupting police work.
