Amit Shah Vows Harsh Response to Terrorists Behind Ganderbal Attack in Jammu and Kashmir

Union Home Minister Amit Shah condemned the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district. He stated that those responsible for this brutal act will face severe consequences from security forces. The attack occurred at a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway, resulting in the deaths of a doctor and five labourers, according to officials.

The attack took place when workers and staff at the Gund tunnel project returned to their camp in the evening. Officials reported that two labourers died instantly, while three others and a doctor succumbed to injuries later. Five individuals are currently receiving treatment for their injuries.

Security Forces' Response

Amit Shah described the attack on civilians in Gagangir, J&K, as an act of cowardice. He assured that those involved will not be spared and will face the harshest response from security forces. "The dastardly terror attack on civilians in Gagangir, J&K, is a despicable act of cowardice. Those involved in this heinous act will not be spared and will face the harshest response from our security forces," Shah wrote on X.

The home minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. He also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the attack.
