Andrabi who is close relative of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was not at his residence when the attack took place.

The attack is the second big one in South Kashmir in 12 hours. In the first attack terrorists had attacked house of a sub-inspector. They had taken away son and nephew of policeman as hostage in a car after ransacking the house.

The two boys were later released by terrorists and the car was set on fire. It is to be noted that J&K is on high alert as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the state to inaugurate the Chenani-Nashri tunnel on April 2.
