Terror funding case: 3 get 7 years in jail
A special court of the National Investigation Agency has convicted three persons and sentenced them to 7 years imprisonment in connection with a terror funding case. Those persons who were convicted include Sidiq Ganai, Ghulam Jeelani Liloo and Farooq Ahmed Dagga.
The court found them guilty of a criminal conspiracy to carry out terrorist acts by raising and transferring funds to the terrorists and their sympathisers active in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The NIA accused them of transferring funds through hawala channels to the terrorists of the Hizbul Mujahideen.
