Terror camps rise as Jihadis prepare for winter infiltration
A November intercept had suggested that there was a meeting that was held in Murdike in which officials of the Pakistan army and terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Taiba were present.
New Delhi, Dec 13: Indian Intelligence Bureau officials have warned of a massive build up of terrorists camps across the Line of Control. Nearly 45 new camps have come up and in the days to come, there will be a major attempt to push terrorists into India. In a bid to keep the infiltrations on during the winter, the Pakistan army had started providing terrorists with high altitude gear.

OneIndia had reported on November 23 that the Pakistan army was providing terrorists with high altitude gear so that infiltrations could take place in the peak winter as well.

A rise in terror camps:
Most of the terror camps were pushed back following the September surgical strikes carried out by India across the Line of Control. A little over three months have passed since the surgical strikes were carried out and now gradually the terror camps have returned.
There has been a slow down of violence in Jammu and Kashmir. Intelligence Bureau officials had said that during the winger the unrest was likely to come down. However Pakistan wants to ensure that the infiltrations do not drop during the winter.
Pakistan has deliberately moved the terror camps closer to the LoC and would attempt to send its terrorists into India in large numbers. There has been a great deal of planning in the past month to ensure that a large number of infiltrations take place.
A November intercept had suggested that there was a meeting that was held in Murdike in which officials of the Pakistan army and terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Taiba were present.
While discussing on how to keep the infiltrations up during winter, it was decided that high altitude gear would be provided. The army had decided to provide terrorists with high altitude gear which they use in the Siachen region.
Indian Intelligence Bureau officials reported that the Pakistan army does not want the issue to die down. Normally during the winter, security forces get a bit of a breather as infiltrations are down. The IB had said that this time around the security forces would have a long winter as terrorists would look to beat the snow and infiltrate into India.
