Tension in UP village after religious books found burnt
Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jul 20: Tension prevailed in Bidoli village of Shamli district here after some religious books were found burnt at an institution.
Police personnel have been deployed in the village after some persons allegedly set on fire the religious books kept at the educational institution under Jhinjhana police station last evening.

Following the incident, people gathered at the site and demanded strict action against the guilty. SP Vijay Bhushan was among the senior police officials who rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons in this connection and search is on to nab the culprits, the SP said.
