Temple Town Ayodhya Under Tight Security Ahead of PM Modi's Visit
Devotees are looking forward to the consecration of Lord Ram's idol in Ayodhya, set to occur on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday visit inaugurate several projects, including the new airport terminal and a railway station. In light of these events, authorities have declared the closure of all schools from classes 1 to 12 on Saturday, December 30.

The Prime Minister's schedule includes inaugurating the revamped Ayodhya Railway Station, flagging off new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains around 11:15 am, and unveiling the newly constructed Ayodhya International Airport.
This visit precedes the highly anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol. The district administration in Ayodhya decided to close all schools from classes 1 to 12 on December 30, considering the prevailing cold weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh and Prime Minister Modi's impending visit to the city before the Ram Temple inauguration.
The expansive Ayodhya temple complex, spanning 71 acres, will house the Ram Mandir covering 2.77 acres. It comprises six sections, including the sanctum sanctorum and five pavilions-Gun Mandap, Rang Mandap, Nritya Mandap, Kirtan Mandap, and Prarthana Mandap. Designed to stand at 161 feet with three floors, each measuring 19.5 feet, the temple represents a significant architectural marvel.
