The Former CM in his video message said, "I am thankful to thousands of people who have visited the hospital to see me today. As I am in Yashoda Hospitals after an unfortunate accident, my medical team is advising that there is a chance of catching an infection and the condition getting worse."

"I request all to go back to their houses and also request that please do not take the inconvenience of visiting the hospital to see me. There is a lot of traffic trouble too. As I am a person who will be amidst the people after recovery, we all can meet soon," he said.

KCR was admitted to the hospital on December 7 where doctors performed a total left hip replacement surgery.

In the recently concluded Telangana assembly elections, KCR failed to retain the power as his party won only 39 seats out of 119 constituencies assembly. Congress triumphed to power with 64 seats, while AIMIM won 7 seats. BJP bagged 8 seats and 1 was clinched by an independent candidate.
