Telangana fallout: Another blow for Cong, 6 member vote no-confidence
In their no-confidence motion, they have stated that the UPA government has lost the faith of Seemandhra MPs, following which L Rajagopal, SPY Reddy, Sabbam Hari, R Sambasivarao, Harshakumar and V Arunkumar signed the vetoed "no-confidence".
In fact, it is said that most of the MPs are likely to quit the party once the Telangana Bill is tabled, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.Sources close to him also say that he may float a party of his own after this.
Among others, union tourism minister Chiranjeevi has already sent his resigntion letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
While the Centre has already cleared the Telangana Bill, the it will be sent to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly for review. However, the former is not bound by the latter's decision and can go ahead and pass the bill.
