Telangana: Chaotic Scenes at Karimnagar Hotel Offering Rs 1 Chicken Biryani
The grand opening of a local hotel in Telangana's Karimnagar took a tumultuous turn on Saturday as the restaurant offered Chicken Biryani for just Rs 1, triggering a massive rush and chaotic scenes.
The hotel's offer was to provide Biryani to those who brought Rs 1 note and only one Biryani per head.

The unbelievably affordable deal quickly spread like wildfire across the town, attracting hordes of eager customers to the venue.
Several hundreds of plates of Biryani were served to the people including parcels. However, what was meant to be an exciting opportunity to savor the discounted biryani turned into a chaotic affair. Following the huge rush, they were forced to down their shutters. In response to the escalating frenzy, the management of the Empire Hotel, which opened near Telangana chowk was compelled to halt the offer.
As the crowds grew, the area surrounding the hotel became densely packed, resulting in a severe traffic jam.
Traffic police swiftly responded to the situation, arriving at the scene to regain control and manage the unruly crowd. To alleviate the congestion caused by improperly parked vehicles obstructing the roads, authorities took decisive action.
A fine ranging from Rs 200 to Rs 250 was imposed on individuals who had parked their vehicles on the road while rushing to take advantage of the biryani offer, aiming to ensure smoother traffic flow and minimize inconvenience to other commuters.
