Telangana: Chandrababu Naidu begins fasting

, the Telugu Desam Party chief has started his indefinite fasting against the formation of Telangana. Alleging conspiracy between the Jagan-led YSR Congress and TRS, Naidu said,"The (Telangana) decision is national match-fixing. Congress didn't follow any procedures. They only want to take political advantage."

Naidu further said that he will wtite to the political chiefs of all the parties and expose the sham of the Congress. He further said that the Telangana issue was the issue of the Telugu people, but has now turned into a national issue. "People have been agitating for over 70 days now. Shouldn't the Congress call for an all-party meeting?"

Referring to his fast, Naidu said,"Already I have started my fasting. From 8.30 onwards I'm fasting. Since last two days I'm eating fruits as I was preparing to be on fast."
