The release of the Telangana Election Schedule is eagerly anticipated and news of its release may be imminent. There are rumors that it may be made public on the 6th of this month, but if not, it is expected to be announced on the 9th of October 2023. Both the BJP at the center and the BRS in the state are keeping a close eye on the schedule and rallying their party members accordingly.

Based on the report provided by the Election Commission team, the schedule for the upcoming elections will be divided. It has been determined that the elections will take place within a 2-month timeframe from the schedule's issuance. However, the CEC appears keen on releasing the schedule before the 10th of this month. As a result, the schedule's finalisation is slated to occur between October 5th and 10th .

Consequently, if reports are to be believed the Election Commission is preparing to hold the elections by the second week of December. Worth noting is that the term for Telangana Assembly will end on January 16, 2024. January 17,2018 marked the day when all the MLAs were sworn in the Assembly, just two months after the polling held on December 7th,2018. EC had previously released the schedule on October 6th, 2018 meaning that the current assembly is set to last until January 16.

Elections for the state assemblies of Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Mizoram are expected to be held in November-December 2023. The ruling party in Telangana, BRS, is already preparing for the elections. The code of conduct will come into force as soon as the election schedule is announced.
