Tejashwi Yadav’s Affidavit: ₹8.98 Crore Wealth, Gold, Cash And Loans Disclosed

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Bihar's main opposition face, Tejashwi Yadav, has disclosed comprehensive details of his wealth in his election affidavit ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. According to the declaration, the combined assets of Tejashwi and his family are valued at around ₹8.98 crore, encompassing both movable and immovable properties. Of this, Tejashwi's movable assets total approximately ₹6.12 crore, while his immovable assets amount to ₹1.88 crore. His wife's assets are valued at ₹59.69 lakh, and their children collectively possess nearly ₹40 lakh in assets.

Among the notable possessions listed, Tejashwi owns an Italian-made pistol and several pieces of electronic equipment, including computers worth several lakhs. The affidavit also mentions gold holdings, with Tejashwi owning 200 grams of gold, his wife 480 grams, and 2 kilograms of silver collectively held by the family. In terms of cash, Tejashwi has declared ₹1.5 lakh, while his wife holds ₹1 lakh.

The affidavit further outlines liabilities of about ₹55.55 lakh, including joint loans shared with his mother Rabri Devi and brother Tej Pratap Yadav. A two-time MLA from Raghopur, Tejashwi is described as a social worker and cricketer, reflecting his diverse professional and personal background.

Additionally, he has disclosed bank deposits, shares, securities, and unsecured loans extended to others, collectively amounting to several crores.
