Tehelka Ex-managing editor Shoma interrogated by Crime Branch

Panaji, Dec 9: After recording her statement in the

sexual assault case before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Sarika Phaldesai for about seven hours,

's Ex-managing editor

was questioned by the Goa Crime Branch for almost four hours.

According to sources, Shoma was asked a set of 50 questions regarding the mails that were exchanged between the trio-the victim, Shoma and Tarun Tejpal-that form an integral part of the investigations.

The questions were mostly to corroborate the statements provided by the victim and Tarun Tejpal himself. However, Chaudhary refused to throw any light on this, after emerging from the interrogation room.

Addressing the media, she said,"I had cooperated with the media but till date what I had stated before media had not been reported correctly. I will not speak about Tehelka, about me nor on the incident in media," she said and left from there.

Meanwhile, police custody of Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal's has been extended by four more days on Friday.
