Teenager falls to death while clicking photos
Hyderabad, Apr 5: A 16-year-old boy died after he fell off a rock while clicking photos in Nehru Zoological Park here, police said.
The incident occurred in afternoon when Manjith Chowdary, who had appeared for his class X exams just two days ago, visited the park with his relatives.

"Between 1 PM to 1.30 PM he climbed the rock around which an artificial waterfall was put up. He slipped and fell down either while trying to take a photo of the place from a cell phone or a selfie...which is not clear immediately," Bahadurpura police station Inspector Harish Kaushik said.
Manjith was rushed to state-run OGH Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. Zoo authorities had barred entry of visitors around the artificial waterfall by putting up fencing, however Manjith managed to get atop the rock by entering from the backside, Kaushik said citing preliminary investigation.
"His relatives are also not revealing on the exact reason on whether he fell down while taking a photo or a selfie," the officer said, adding a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered in connection with the incident. Further probe is on.
