Teenage girl raped in Jammu
Jammu, Aug 25: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Jammu district, police said on Thursday.
The victim's father complained that his daughter had gone to nearby fields for grazing cattle in Parade Gharota belt here on Wednesday and did not return back, a police officer said.
She returned home on Thursday and alleged that she was raped by Sat Pal, the officer said.
On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered tonight and an investigation is underway, the officer added.
