Shocking Video: Teacher beats visually challenged students brutally in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 21: A shocking video from Andhra Pradesh shocked the entire country. At least three students, who were visually impaired, were beaten brutally by one man who was reportedly their teacher.

The video showed how the assaulter, who was also visually challenged, delivered blow upon blow. The children were heard screaming, begging to be spared. However, they did not get any mercy from their teacher.

While the three young students were seen screaming, the teacher held of one of them and banged his head against the floor. Another man, whose face was not clear in the video, was seen helping the assaulter to beat the kids who all were younger than 10.

The video went viral as the footage was showed in all TV news channel on Monday, July 21. However, it has not been revealed who filmed the video using a mobile phone.

The police in Kakinada, over 650 km from the state capital of Hyderabad, was quoted as saying that the man who is seen caning the children runs the Greenfield Residential School for visually challenged children. He has been arrested; so has the school principal.

Meanwhile, the state's Child Rights Commission has begun investigating the case separately. TV reports also claimed that identity of the person(s) have not been revealed yet as who funds the school. It is said that the school is run as a charitable institution.

As many as 62 children enrolled at the school, which is residential. The district administration is yet to take a call on whether the children should be moved out.
