TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu Pens An Open Letter From Prison: Not In Jail, But In People's Hearts

Telugu Desam Party National President and Former Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, who finds himself in judicial remand on what he alleges to be a false case, has conveyed a heartfelt message to the people of Andhra Pradesh through an open letter from Rajahmundry Central Prison.

In this missive, the three-time Chief Minister underscores that while he may be physically confined, he is far from absent in the hearts and minds of the people. Throughout his 45-year political career, his unwavering commitment has always revolved around the progress and welfare of the Telugu populace, said the TDP chief.

Naidu, in his open letter, reveals that the leadership of the YSRCP is attempting to keep him at arm's length from the people, driven by their apprehension of electoral defeat. However, he firmly believes that his legacy continues to shine brightly across the state through the developmental endeavors he set in motion.

The former Chief Minister goes on to declare that he cannot be separated from the people, even for a solitary day or moment. He acknowledges the efforts to tarnish his image with concocted schemes but holds fast to the values and credibility he has consistently upheld, asserting that they remain unblemished. He maintains a resolute belief that this period of darkness is temporary and that the prison walls cannot erode his self-assurance.

In addition, N. Chandrababu Naidu assures that he will neither falter nor permit others to do so. He pledges to unveil a comprehensive manifesto once he regains his freedom. In his absence, he has entrusted his wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, daughter of Former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, to be his advocate, a responsibility she has willingly accepted. Nara Bhuvaneswari will connect with the people through an initiative titled 'Nijam Gelavali' aimed at providing support to families affected by his wrongful arrest and steering the governance back to a state of order.

Furthermore, N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasizes that while justice may sometimes seem delayed, it ultimately prevails. In the interim, he encourages everyone to persist in their peaceful struggle against authoritarian rule.
