Hyderabad, Mar 2: The YSR Congress alleged today that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) seems to be implementing a "break up Andhra Pradesh, make in Singapore" policy since the state relies heavily on the foreign country as well as "ignores local talent" and "belittles our nation".

"At a time when Indians, more so, people from our state, happen to be the most sought after by top companies world over, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has given even a simple assignment of drafting the plan for the capital city to a Singaporean firm," YSR Congress party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma said in a release issued here today.

Chandrababu Naidu

Padma alleged in the release that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, is redefining the NDA slogan of 'Make in India' by heavily depending on Singapore for everything, thus insulting local talent.

"The state should be transparent by placing all deals in public domain justifying its preference," the party spokesperson's release said. "TDP leaders boast that land pooling is over and farmers have voluntarily given up their land for the capital. Will any of these TDP leaders give up their land for the same deal," she questioned, seeking to know how many farmers voluntarily gave up their land. She said that YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would tour two constituencies on March 3 to get answers to these questions and find out realities.
