Taxi driver held for trying to molest American tourist
The incident took place on Sunday night when the victim was on way to Rishikesh from Delhi in a taxi, SP (city) Sharvan Kumar said. The taxi driver stopped the car near a roadside eatery and tried to molest her. The woman managed to flee from the spot and reached Rishikesh by another vehicle. Based on her complaint, an FIR was lodged and a case registered against taxi driver Samey Singh who has been arrested, he said.
