Tejpal was arrested by the Goa police on November 30 after a special sessions court rejected his anticipatory bail plea. He was remanded to six days police custody by the court.
Meanwhile Tejpal's lawyer had appealed for a fan to be put outside his cell. But reports suggest that the application for a fan outside his cell was rejected by the court.
