7.30 pm: Tejpal reaches crime branch, Goa for questioning.
5.55 pm: Hearing adjourned. Interim relief till 10 am on Saturday. Tejpal won't be arrested today.
5.46 pm: Judge reprimands Tejpal's lawyer for taking victim's name.
5.33 pm: Tejpal detained at Goa airport.
5.12 pm: Tejpal lands in Goa amidst tight security.
4.45 pm: BJP supporters protest outside the Goa airport where Tejpal is about to reach in a few minutes.
4.30 pm: A Times Now reporter speaks with Tarun Tejpal at the Delhi airport before he left for Goa. He said how an internal email could be the basis of an FIR?
4.25 pm: Tejpal's lawyer said that Tatun Tejpal was not running away and that he will face trial. Tejpal's bail hearing begins as the judge says that he is not 'concerned with the political remarks, he is more concerned about the crime.'
3.52 pm: Police seek custodial interrogation for Tejpal, say he is not co-operating.
3:15 pm: The victim and a junior employee of Tehelka, who was allegedly sexually assaulted by Tarun Tejpal said: "Tejpal is fighting for money and power, but I am fighting only for my integrity."
3:07 pm: Commenting on rumours of political involvement, the victim said," I am deeply hurt by the insinuations that this is nothing but a political pre-play."
2:45 pm: In a direct hit at Tejpal, the intern says," Itis my body and nobody has the right to violate it. What he (Tarun Tejpal) has done is nothing less than rape."
2.30 pm: Tejpal, who is heading for Goa, could be arrested on flight if his bail plea gets rejected, sources said.
1.08 pm: Tejpal reaches Delhi airport.
Sources told Times Now that Tarun Tejpal might surrender in Goa by 5pm on Friday. Its been reported that he has booked a 2:30pm flight from New Delhi to Goa.
11.30 am: On Friday morning, Ministry of Home Affairs asked Goa state government for detailed reports of actions taken in the sexual assault case.
10.30 am: Tejpal's lawyers had filed an anticipatory bail plea at Goa sessions court on Friday morning. The court adjourned hearing of Tejpal's bail plea till 2:30pm on Friday and granted him interim bail till then.
The Goa police team had gone to Tejpal's residence , but couldn't trace the former editor-in-chief on Tehelka magazine. Police said Tejpal's family was unwilling to co-operate with them. Tejpal's wife has reportedly refused to divulge his whereabouts.
