Tamil Nadu: Depressed over Dr Kalam's death, young techie commits suicide
Chennai, Aug 2: Nearly one week after his death, a young techie committed suicide for Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. The incident took place at Thiruporur, Kanchipuram district in Tamil Nadu.
The deceased has been identified as D Subramani. He was an employee of a private engineering firm.

One of his colleagues found his body hanging from ceiling fan. Police discovered a suicide note in which Subramani reportedly offered his life as tribute to Dr Kalam.
He also mentioned that he wad depressed over Dr Kalam's death. While apologising to his parents, friends for ending his life, Subramani also wrote, "I have not seen such a clean and humble man (Dr Kalam) so far in my life."

"Nobody had paid tribute to Kalam with their lives. I am doing it with my life", he concluded his suicide note.
Dr Kalam, the most popular former President of India, passed away on July 27. He collapsed on dais while delivering a speech at IIM Shillong. Later he was declared in a hospital. Government of India declared national mourning from July 28 to Aug 2.
