New Delhi, March 20: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Rajnath Singh on Thursday announced the seat allocation for Tamil Nadu, where the party is in pact with regional parties like DMDK, PMK, MDMK and smaller parties like KMDK and IJK.

According to sources, BJP's ally in the state DMDK (Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam) gets 14 seats. Other regional party PMK (Paattali Makkal Katchi) and BJP have received eight seats each. MDMK (Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) has got seven seats while KMDK (Kongunadu Makkal Desia Katchi) and IJK (Indhiya Jananayaka Katchi) have got one seat each.

"This is a formidable alliance and we expect 25 seats in Tamil Nadu," Rajnath Singh said.
