chapter, addressed media, jointly with AAP's state campaign convener David Barun Kumar on Wednesday.

He said,"As social activists we have wanted to see a change happening and we have always worked to facilitate social betterment. Now when we see AAP emerging as the vehicle for such a change, it makes sense to be part of this vehicle and strengthen the overall movement towards making a positive change."

Barun Kumar further said that strong candidates are likely to be fielded against DMK's A Raja and Dayanidhi Maran.

PMANE leaders from Idinthakarai, which included S P Udhayakumar and Jesuraj, joined the party in the presence of Barun Kumar.

"We are happy that every day we are getting such eminent persons joining us, we see more of this happening in the coming days as we near elections," Barun Kumar said.

In a statement released by AAP, it is said that the party has more than three lakh members in the state unit.
