TN: 75 farmers arrested prior to Modi's visit
Vedaranyam (TN), May 11: Seventy five farmers were arrested ahead of Prime Minister Modi's visit after they tried to stage a black flag demonstration against non-implementation of river linking projects in the country, police said today.
The protestors were members of Federation of South India Farmers Associations. They were let off in the evening, police said.
