Tamil actor K Krishnakumar alleges physical abuse by his wife, files divorce petition
Chennai, July 2: Here is some bad news for the fans of Tamil actor K Krishnakumar. The actor has filed a divorce petition against his wife Hemalatha Ranganathan in the city family court.
Krishnakumar has alleged that his wife has been abusing him physically and mentally.

According to a report in the TOI, the actor has written the tale of his agony and pain in the petition. Explaining his side of story, the actor said that he and Hemalatha married in February 2014. After few months, when Hemalatha couldn't adjust with the joint family, they started living in an independent house.
Putting onus on wife, Krishnakumar further said that Hemalatha made his life miserable. "She did not perform her duties as a dutiful wife, picked quarrels at the slightest instance:, the actor told TOI. She has also been accused of being suspicious in nature, creating disturbances in actor's professional career.
Not only that, at once instance Hemalatha inflicted injury on herself and put blame on me. Life had become so hell that at times I used to feel that living outside home is better than seeing face of wife at the home. Mental, physical torture was a routine affair, actor wrote in the petition.
But this is one side of the coin. Reportedly, wife has similar story to say.
In 2015, Hemalatha had alleged that she is being treated in cruel manner by her husband. While complaining to president of producer's council, Hemalatha had accused Krishnakumar of being alcholic and had relations with other women.
