Talkathon: When 3 Modi Ministers connected with Twitterati, answered their queries

New Delhi, May 30: As part of the NDA government's media blitzkrieg to highlight achievements made during its one-year rule, three Union ministers are participated in a 'talkathon' session today during which they interacted with twitterati and answered questions posted on Twitter.

HRD Minister Smriti Irani, Coal and Power Minister Piyush Goyal and Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman took part in the 90-minute programme beginning 6 pm, organised by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

Participants in the social media space posted questions on Twitter which were answered by the guests (ministers) in real time. The users used the hashtag #AskYourGovt to post their queries to the Twitter handle of the Ministry @MIB_India.

Twiteratti put up questions to the ministers on wide range of issues like employment, corruption, development, finance, education, etc.. The ministers simultaneously replied to the queries put up by the participants.
