Take message of Ambedkar, Vajpayee, Vivekananda to people: PM Modi
New Delhi, Dec 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed satisfaction over the debate on the Constitution and B.R. Ambedkar in parliament, and asked MPs to take the message of Ambedkar to their constituencies.
"The prime minister said the debate was good and such a good debate was heard after long (time). He said this should not be just a two-day affair and the message should be taken to the people in their constituencies," an informed source said.

He also said that the birthdays of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which is on December 25, and Swami Vivekananda, on January 12, should be celebrated in a grand way.
The prime minister asked MPs to go to the people with the messages of Ambedkar, Vajpayee and Swami Vivekananda.
The MPs were also given a demonstration of the 'Narendra Modi mobile application' that provides important information about the prime minister and his activities.
"The app gives all relevant information about prime minister, his programmes, the progress of important flagship government schemes like Jan Dhan, and also has the media reports on these," a minister said.
