Syringe psycho leaves Andhra Pradesh terrorised

Hyderabad, Aug 29: Syringe psycho is a man who moves around on a black Pulsar and pricks women with syringes. The women who have complained to the police have been subject to tests and no harmful substance was found, which deepens the mystery as the police are unable to understand the motive behind the pricking.

Syringe psycho does not have a name as yet and he has been spotted in the early hours of the day riding a bike in Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari district.

The deadly prick

As per the complaints there have been nine women who have been victims of his pricks. He would ride his black Pulsar motor bike with his face covered. When he would see a woman, he would stop the bike and prick them with a syringe on their back side before speeding away.

The police have been getting complaints about this man from August 22 onwards. At first what appeared to be a one off incident has now turned serious with nine women complaining to the police about being pricked.

A pervert and his pranks?

The police are unsure about his motive. They say he may just be a pervert enjoying a prank. He does not want to harm the women as no harmful substance has been injected. He just pricks them and scoots, the police say.

The police even sent the blood samples of the women to the lab and it was found to be safe and hence the motive was only to play a prank and not harm, the police also say.

The police have formed a special team apart from announcing a reward of Rs 1 lakh for any information leading up to him. The Andhra Pradesh government has also stepped in and directed the police to take swift action.

However news regarding this man broke out, he seems to have stopped his pricking spree. The police have released his sketch and all bikers in the Bhimavaram, Palacole, Penugonda areas are being checked.
