Swara Bhaskar slams Vivek Agnihotri for his 'puncture repairers' comment

Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar has come down heavily on filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri over his tweet where he criticised a fact-checker.

Bhaskar, who recently tied the knot with Fahad Ahmad, has tweeted,"Vivek Agnihotri name-calling, swearing at, accusing Muslim citizens on public platforms simply because they are Muslim is a glaring example of how vile, poisoned, bigoted & majoritarian our public discourse has become in 'New India'. Sickening. @_sayema @zoo_bear @hussainhaidry. [sic]"

It was her response to Agnihotri's recent tweet that read "I don't hate fact-checkers, I hate when puncture repairers pretend to be fact checkers. Because you are nothing but just a jehadi pimp of India's enemies & I know very well who is behind you. Every jihadi will have his day and your time is just around the corner."

This was his reaction to a fact checker for mocking his claims on winning an award and the tweet can be seen below:

Agnihotri's critical words did not go well with the fact checker Mohammed Zubair who was responsible for the death threats received by BJP leader Nupur Sharma who came under Islamists' attack over her remarks on Prophet Mohammed.

Responding to Agnihotri's comments, Zubair said, "Words like "Jihadi" or "Puncture wala" against Muslims were earlier used by faceless Right Wing trolls, It's now openly being used by Verified trolls like @vivekagnihotri for which the filmmaker responded, "Instead of metaphors, I should call you exactly what you are: Genocide denier, terror supporter, perpetrator of women harassment (Nupur Sharma) instigator of #SarTanSeJuda (Kanhaiya Lal) & anti-truth pimp of Hindu's enemies.
Prepare yourself for qayamat when it comes. The end. [sic]"

Zubair then tweeted, "The words used by you shows your hate towards Muslim community. DON'T DELETE THIS. Let the World know, [sic]"

Agnihotri silenced him with another tweet, "Sar tan se juda karne wale hate ki baat kar rakhe hain."

What surprises the most is the moral high ground taken by Swara and her ilk when they do not have regrets over how their campaign against Nupur Sharma led to the deaths of Hindus such as Kanhaiya Lal. Not to forget, Sharma's life also came under threat
